What is the Salvation Army?

Send this page to a friend Email envolope

The Salvation Army, an international movement, is an evangelical branch of the universal Christian Church. Its message is based on the Bible, its ministry motivated by love for God. Its mission is both spiritual and practical, encompassing the preaching of the gospel of Jesus Christ and alleviating human suffering and distress without discrimination.

Here at Croydon Citadel we follow the same principles, combining lively family worship with an active programme of Weekly activities, offering something for everyone. You'll find a warm welcome and a friendly atmosphere here at the Citadel, so if you are considering visiting us for the first time, or just looking for a new place of worship, we invite you to come along and join in!

If you would like to find out more about us here at Croydon Citadel, or would like to know more about The Salvation Army in general, please do not hesitate to get in contact.
