The Lord is my all in All

by Miss Ancy Simon
The Salvation Army Kulathummel Hospital, Kattakada - ISW

I am proud to be grand daughter of Salvation Army officers though my mother is a lecturer and father a retired professor. I have two brothers of them one has completed MBA and the younger brother is doing his MCA. I would join with Apostle Paul who says “No eye has seen, no ear has heard no mind has conceived what God has prepared for those who love him” (I Corinthians 2:9).

My selection out of thousand applicants for B.Sc.nursing in CMC, Vellore happened to be the first miracle in 2001. God was very gracious in giving me knowledge that I received every year prizes for extraordinary performance in studies. I was one of the two candidates selected to visit Sweden for six months on the basis of academic proficiency and visited European countries like Norway and France. I was fortunate to get acquainted with Salvationists in Sweden and had wonderful worship time sharing and exchanging pleasantries. God has been my friend, comforter, counsellor and in short I can say all in all in my life.

Now I have been serving as staff nurse in The Salvation Army hospital, Kulathummel, Kattakada since March this year. I have the utmost confidence that the Lord who led me over the years will continue to lead me all through my life. The secret of being successful in any career is to commit all our plans to Him that he may direct our path.
