GOD SHOWS OUR WAYS - Major & Mrs. Lalbulliana, Aizawl
My birth to parents of Presbyterian church background convinced me that I should become a missionary or a pastor while I was very young. It was unfortunate that I was denied admission for a theological training soon after my high school studies yet I was hopeful of my dream. God directed me to join The Salvation Army to serve Him and leaders accepted me as candidate for officer training and I was privileged to be a delegate for International Youth Congress USA in 1985.
I got married to a salvationist who supported me in many ways and God blessed us with two sons Denise and Mark. During 18 years of service we served in various appointments as corps officers, divisional assistant, cashier, Accountant, Project & Sponsorship secretary, training officer, liaison officer and Assistant in social services and editorial and literary central office, Kolkata superintendent of Home and school for the blind in Kalimpong. God’s hand was with us wherever we served Him.
Our new appointment as Financial Secretary and Assistant Business Administration in East Africa would be a challenging one but we accepted with confidence that the same Lord who led the Israelites would lead us in our ministry. We claim the promise given to Joshua “Don’t be afraid or discouraged, For I the Lord your God am with you wherever you go”. We are very grateful to Salvation Army for encouraging and helping us in many ways. I praise God who opened a new way for us to serve and request you to pray that we would be a blessing in our new appointment.
