Testimony: Lieutenant Lakshmi Sunil

I am very happy that God has done great things in my life, because He gave me a new life on 9th August 2012. There was no one at my home only me and my 3 years old son Andrew. When suddenly I became very serious due to the Gynecology problem I made phone call to my husband, Lieutenant Sunil Mukul, by the time he was quite far away from home for house visitation. He came around 4.00 p.m. For a moment my heart beat was stopping, eyes turned away. When my husband came to home he called my Divisional Leaders Majors Philip and Nayami Nayak and other few officers who are our neighbours; all came to my home but after few minutes my heart started pulsating. They took me to hospital. I give thanks to God, He saved my life. When I had come back home the word of God came to my mind so I asked my husband to read from the Bible from Psalm 30:1-3: 'I Will exalt you ,O Lord, for you lifted me out of the depths and did not let my enemies gloat over me. O Lord, My God, I called to you for help and you healed me. O Lord, you brought me up from the grave; you spared me from going down into the pit. I give thanks to all officers and soldiers for their help in my distress. I request the War Cry readers, pray for me and my family.

by Lieutenant Lakshmi Sunil, Assistant Corps Commanding Officer
Central Corps, West Bengal Division, India Northern Territory
