Child Protection Training Programme at Booth Mansion Hall, Aizawl

I sincerely thank all our Leaders from International Headquarters, WSWM and ZSWM and WMAA for attending the Child Protection Programme. Also I am very thankful for all the delegates and THQ officers. This training programme has been arranged to bring awareness about children. We read in the Word of God that children are the gift of God; therefore it is our duty to protect them spiritually and physically. These days are evil and children are at risk. We are always reading or watching on TV that many children are unsafe. Recently girl Robina who worked in the slum Dog film her father tried to sold her. Not only that there are many other problems from which we have to save them. Children are abused sexually as house workers working in tobacco factories sexual trafficking child labor used for begging on the streets using for drugs many other problems.

Our village people are very simple. They do not know anything how to protect their children. Now there is 'Look East Policy' from the central Government. Near Myanmar Harbor is going to be made. It will be easier to come and go other countries such as Burma Myanmar China etc. Let us think seriously about our children.

CHILDREN ARE OUR STRENGTH: At every level children are important. They are important for the family, Nation and Church. Without children we cannot grow. Mizoram population is 9 lakhs and family planning is not encouraged. We have 13 Children Homes and 15 schools in the territory. The Salvation Army bearing their all expenses for their education and living. We are helping them to stand on their feet. And same time it is possible to teach them about Jesus. We know that if we are not careful enough devils will take our children and use them. We know the story of Noah and his sons. He did not discipline his children. God removed Noah from his priesthood and appoint Samuel on his place.

CHILDREN PROTECTION PROGRAMME IN IET: Youth activities in our territory are very effective. Our SAY helping us many ways even for protection of children. They are helping for the physical and spiritual development of our people in the community. They have their own money for the work. Also through Community Health Action Network (CHAN) we bring awareness among the people about Sexual trafficking / Drug Abuse / and HIV/AIDS.

Now a days electronic media is a big danger for children. Some youths are interested in pornography. They watched dirty films and read dirty literatures. All these things are very bad and unsafe. Another big evil is to be a rich man over night. Some evil men and women they do not hesitate to sell even human lives. Let us work together and help our children to protect them from the evil hands. We should not keep quite when we see children are at risk.

Jesus grew in the grace of God and stature. Our children whom we are responsible help them to follow Christ like. These children may be in our family or in our homes and school. I hope you will learn some good & important things. Please do not forget them but use in your places. God love the children and he wants them to be safe and sound. Please to be attentive to listen our leaders. May the Lord bless you.
