Salvation Army Emergency Relief Team in Sumatra, Indonesia, Offers Medical Help and More

A Salvation Army professional medical team is seeing an average of 200 patients each day in a makeshift medical tent in the Pangang Pariaman sector. The Salvation Army had already distributed 1,000 tents, 2,000 blankets and 5,000 packets of milk powder in the first days of the crisis.

The Salvation Army Central Philippines Divisional Headquarters in Quezon City has been transformed into an aid centre and is stocked with sacks of rice, cans of sardines, boxes of noodles, piles of blankets and mats and bottles of medicine.
