I believe with 1.7 million Salvationists in 124 countries, we could mobilise tens of thousands of people - no, hundreds of thousands - for this half hour of power on Thursdays. Having travelled to several territories, I am hearing such excitement about this praying together around the world. It is perhaps the most important indicator of our being One Army. But I believe we should encourage others to join us!
Would you please be that encourager? I would also be pleased to hear from you if you have ideas of how we can better engage people in this prayer meeting. You can register your comments at the bottom of this page.
Alternatively, you can feedback via Facebook or by tweeting @TSA_WWPM. When tweeting your friends about the prayer meeting it would be helpful if you used the following hash tag - #wwpm. Thank you.

Thank you General Bond for your letter, encouraging wwpm. Already we have seeing answers to prayer Corps wise andas well as in individual lives. We will continue to pray to our God who is our sufficiency. An effective means of prayer that works well is neighborhood prayer cells. Through this means, comrades living in the same community/nearby meet weekly at different homes at a time that is convenient to all.

We thank God for the people in our division who are constantly in prayers for Salvation Army's work and mission. Soldiers and officers in our division are activily participating in prayers by First thirday and last Friday of every month in moringing prayers in every corps and fasting & Prayers. On every Friday we have prayer meeting on Divisional level in which few soldiers and officers are been in fasting and prayer for last four years. Every prayer is recorded and then we revisit those prayers made and find how those prayers are been answered which gives us reasons to celebrate and thank God for His goodness. Please be assured of continual prayers by the faithful soldiers and officers of mumbai Division, India Western Territory

@TSA_IHQ My best suggestion would be to be consistent. The nature of Twitter and Facebook demands regularity. #wwpm

I was of the idea that SA institutions; schools, hospitals/clinic, DHQ should be asked to hold these important prayer on Thursday before business.

It is so very inspiring and encouraging to be part of this 'Mexican wave' of prayer. We do it in our office along with several corps around the East Midlands Division, UKT. More could join in though - we'll be the encouragers General is looking for.

As we walk from the train to the office we see everybody 'filling up', piles of sausages freshly roasted waiting to be eaten by customers, milkmen delivering milk to the offices, huge amounts of beer barrels to the restaurants, and we can come with our empty containers to the worldwide prayer meeting. Great, not only great to be there but to know that the prayers are heard and answered
